Building Hope:Bristlecone's Current & Future Projects

Phase I - Medical Detox Center

Phase I of our expansion is a 20-bed Medical Detox Center, a $2.5 million investment in our community’s health. This 24/7 medically supervised facility will provide a safe, supportive start to recovery. With several detox centers closing in Northern Nevada, this project fills a critical gap, ensuring immediate access to life-saving treatment. Our goal is to offer compassionate, evidence-based care that stabilizes individuals, sets them on the path to recovery, and connects them to long-term treatment for lasting success.

Phase II - Women’s Trauma Center

Phase II of our expansion, the $1.5 million Women’s Trauma Center, will provide a secure, supportive space for women recovering from addiction and trauma. This 12-bed facility, staffed by an all-female team, offers trauma-informed care for those escaping abuse, sex trafficking, and other hardships. We aim to create a refuge where women can heal, rebuild, and achieve lasting recovery.

Phase III - Revitalization of Existing Building

Phase III of our expansion revitalizes our four-story building to create a more supportive, healing space for recovery. Upgrades include exterior enhancements, room renovations, roof repairs, and updated flooring. These improvements will enhance the client experience and ensure the longevity of our vital addiction and mental health services.
